Why are there so many complaints against builder's?
There are many reasons why customer's feel they ought to complain but simple mis-understandings are often at the root of problems. BB's strongly recommends that the responsibilities of both customer and build team are very clearly defined in writing at the outset.

In any case a quality & experienced team will always remain calm and firstly give any complaint their full attention. In the un-fortunate event of any grievance a private off site meeting with the customer would be called followed by a site meeting if necessary. If a site meeting is necessary in view any technical matter's the customer is encouraged to prepare notes beforehand. All BB's craftsmen/women are briefed and trained according to our policy on complaints procedures.


Are all BB's craftsmen/women highly skilled?
Yes. BB's are not only interested in CV's or references when choosing craftsmen/women. Experience has taught us that the only sure way of knowing a person and his/her skills is to invite them for a two week work trial.

How can BB's offer high quality at affordable cost?
It is extremely difficult to achieve high quality workmanship at relatively low cost. These results cannot be achieved with poor quality materials and quick work' neither with high operating costs. In BB's team there are no pen pusher's, everyone is a hands on team player. As much as possible of the administration work is addressed between 06:00 and 09:00 each morning, we have no permanent office staff. These are two examples of how we keep the operating costs down thus enabling us to offer affordable and quality work.

Does BB's have a futuristic view of small to medium building ?
Yes. With explosive increase of knowledge sharing and the availability of reasonably good quality & affordable tools BB's believe the DIY sector will continue to enjoy huge growth. This will only be apparent in the small to medium building sector of course. BB'ss policy regarding the DIY sector is simple and straightforward. We are very willing offer advice and training to DIY enthusiasts There's nothing more enjoyable to witness than a family participating in the building of their dream home. We cannot obviously offer free advice and training but you can still expect large savings if you can achieve basic competences. Growth in communications and ease of access to information will lead customer's to seek references and other information on all builder's this will mean that all builder's must focus on higher standards of workmanship and customer service.
